To improve the coverage of STI, HIV, TB, and Hepatitisservices among the incarcerated population in Prisons,Other Closed Settings, Juvenile Homes, and Drug Deaddiction Centres, the National AIDS Control Organisation(NACO) has launched the Integrated STI, HIV, TB, andHepatitis (ISHTH) Campaign.
This campaign is implementedin close collaboration with the National TuberculosisElimination Program (NTEP) and the National ViralHepatitis Control Program (NVHCP) under the NationalHealth Mission.To facilitate efficient and timely reporting of data fromthese institutions on a daily basis, a mobile application hasbeen developed.
This mobile app allows for the monitoringof data at both the national and state levels.
It is designedto be user-friendly and has the capability to synchronizeoffline data, ensuring that data can be collected even inareas with limited or no internet connectivity.By utilizing this mobile app, the reporting process becomesstreamlined and standardized across institutions.
It enablesreal-time monitoring of the campaigns progress,facilitating prompt interventions and the identification ofareas that may require additional support or resources.The mobile app also enhances data accuracy and quality byreducing manual errors and data entry discrepancies.
Itprovides a reliable platform for capturing and analysingdata related to STI, HIV, TB, and Hepatitis services, helpingto inform decision-making and resource allocation.Furthermore, the ability of the mobile app to synergizeoffline data ensures that data can be collected even insituations where internet connectivity is limited orintermittent.
